Kathleen Nadeau, PhD

Pioneer in ADHD Research and Care


Dr. Nadeau is a visionary in the world of ADHD. Her founding of The Chesapeake Center and her tireless work as an author, lecturer, and advocate have transformed the lives of countless individuals with ADHD.


The Path to Expertise:


Dr. Nadeau's passion for psychology led her to pursue a bachelor's, followed by a master's degree, at the University of Florida.  Her dedication culminated in a doctorate (PhD) in Psychology. She further honed her clinical skills during her internship at the prestigious St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Washington, DC. Ever since, she's dedicated herself to specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD and related challenges.


Best-Selling Author and Global Influence: 


Dr. Nadeau's numerous books on ADHD, including the groundbreaking "Learning to Slow Down and Pay Attention," are considered essential resources. She's in demand as a speaker and trainer, sharing her insights with professionals and audiences around the world.  Her current research promises to shed new light on ADHD in older adults. Langdon's background in the hospitality industry honed her skills in management, marketing, and delivering a superior client experience –  assets that translate seamlessly into her current role. Her previous roles, including event planner at the renowned Kennedy Center and manager at the historic Brown Palace, speak to her ambition and high standards.

As the daughter of Chesapeake's founder, Dr. Kathleen Nadeau, Langdon brings a deep understanding of ADHD and learning challenges to the organization. She skillfully mentors her administrative team, instilling an unwavering focus on providing compassionate, personalized support to those seeking help.
